High school?

Which is better to do , carry a big tote bag from a store like hollister or whatever like this-

OR

Or is it better to carry a back pack?

And for girls who carry totes instead of backpacks, do you use the tote as a purse too and keep everything inside, or do you carry the tote(with books and school supplies) and a purse?

I'm really confused of what to do? I want to use the easiest thing.

please help!

thanks!

High school?
Definitely a BACKPACK. People don't care wear your clothes and accessories come from, plus you really would want to carry your books like that all day? Backpacks are bigger and can hold more things. Totes are more for summer and the beach and they wouldn't be able to hold books, supplies, and other things.
Reply:use a large tote if you're going for whats "in" right now, but a backpack is def. ,more easy to carry. Usually totes have a small pouch insde where you can put your wallet and essentials in it and then transfer it to a purse when you're not at school.
Reply:those are so cute and i am getting a tote for my school bag to i would wear that bag when i go to the beach and stuff but i would still wear it to school

but i think u should get white because those wont match everything that u wear

hear is the one im getting

oh yeah and i wouldnt pay 50$ just for a bag (the abercrombie one)like the one i showed are only 20 and 12 bucks and they are from abercrombie too
Reply:I think both totes are cute. But you're better off using a backpack depending on the amount of books etc. that you have to carry.
Reply:i love the hollister tote and i carry everything inside it
Reply:totes are cute, but i used one all last year and as a result had a lot of back problems. i'd reccommend using a backpack unless you won't have a lot of things to carry around. as for the purse question, its probably easier to just keep all your things in one bag
Reply:I have a bookbag on my back, and then a tote as my purse. That way, in my purse i can put my changed of clothes for aerobics, hair brush and straightener, and everything else i need. It's so much easier becausee when you ahve to put all your books in the tote, it gets really heavy and a hassel to carry on one shoulder.
Reply:just ahve like a small makeup bag with stuff that you would normally have in your purse, and i like the abercrombie bag better.
Reply:i have a totebag from hollister, but i use a backpack just because the tote gets so heavy on my shoulder walking around. its soo much easier to use a backpack. im in honors classes and i get easily distracted, so i have a lot of stuff to take home after the day is over, and i cant fit all my books into the tote comfortably. you may not have that problem though, but high school is the best, so enjoy it!
Reply:uh. personally i love tote's.

also messenger bags are amazing. :]

very nice, i hate backpacks.

i dont really like that hollister one, but the abercrombie ones ok.

i dont really shop at either of those storys, normally a place like "charrlote Russe" or "forever 21"
Reply:well i wood say a backpack wood b better but that is just me

after a while your shoulder will start to hurt and u will wish u had a backpack so instead of going throo all that just get a backpack.......
Reply:I carry a large tote. I don't use my tote as a purse because that would be weird. School is not my life, I don't want to carry homework around with me when I go out.
Reply:tote b/c u can have it as a backpack and purse, unless you have a lot of school supplies %26amp; textbooks to carry then use a backpack and have a normal purse
Reply:Use a tote and a purse. Backpacks are totally out. They are bulky and not all that stylish (even if they are "Jansport"). This way you can interchange your tote cuz they are usually cheaper than backpacks.
