High School?

Any advice you have about anything. Im putting it in this section because I love your opinions! Just to tell you im coming from a private school...to my first time ever in public school.

High School?
oh well you're in for something lol. first off, dont trust people easily. there are going to be some pretty nasty fights. if you are yourself, thats wat makes u cool and people like you...unless ur are naturaly mean and nasty but i doubt that. PLEASE dont make the mistake that i did. i went for TRACK and it brought my grades down cause i couldnt balance out my homework and sports. unless u can balance a schedule which i cant, dont do sports unless you're gonna do that for a living lol. HIGH SCHOOL isnt scary. trust me. actually its the one of the best things that happened to me in a way. well if u have any questions, you can email me =) ......DONT DO DRUGS!!! lol

Reply:I'm starting high school too! I can't give advice but here is what I've heard from people.





Lots have said not too overdress on the first day and not be nervous because it's not as scary as it seems.





I'd also say make sure you have everything in your locker. Be yourself. If you're shy try not to be so you can make lots of friends. That always helps at a new school!

Reply:It's the same with me! Just I'm going to the 7th Gade! I was in private school for the whole time! I'm going into a public school! I am not going into high school, but I will tell you this:





Act yourself


Don't follow the crowd (unless you want to become a puppy!)


Have confidence in yourself


Have a great outlook on school


Don't TRY to be cool..... you'll only become stupid!

Reply:Public Schools are much different than private, better education for one, but anyways, dont be decieved by anyone and make sure you know all the rules of the schools , you might be able to find loop holes in order to skip(not that you should!), or to just defy authority. Good Luck!
Reply:Well if you're coming from a private school, generally in public schools you will see much more diversity. Also public schools don't generally have uniforms XD. I guess you could say it's easier to "be your own person" since you have a lot of "groups" to choose from, and since you can wear whatever you want (unless there's a strict dress code being enforced)! It's a change, but you'll get used to it.
