High School?

is high skool all it's cracked up to be. my fellow freshmen friends say it's just four long years of hearache, stressful college prep, and cliques. What is your opinion?

High School?
it can be some of the best times and the worst times. try not to let the actual academic part run your life because you'll regret it if you dont go to like football and basketball games and dances, because you're too worried about homework and stuff. but dont slack off either. i slacked off majorly my freshman and sophomore years, and part of the reason i didnt get into the college that i wanted to go to was because of that. just try to enjoy it as much as possible because what people say is true, its over before you know it and you dont want to have any regrets!





oh ... and dont be too worried about what other people think of you! the second you graduate everyone could care less who was friends with who, and who wore what..

Reply:Take if from someone who graduated from HS in 1998. Enjoy every minute of HS!!! I know there is allot of pressure in HS with friends and prep for college, but the HS years are some of the best years of your life. Enjoy !!!!
Reply:Yep, that's about it! But it can also be a blast! New friendships, new great teachers, sports, afterschool activities, etc.





All depends on how you look at it, and how you HANDLE it.





Me, I couldn't wait to get OUT of h.s., but everyone is different. :-)

Reply:Personally i think high school is exhausting. I am rising sophmore and i am always worn out.
Reply:They are right. I have had a learning disability all my life it was hard for me to cope with this problem when I got to high school. People never change it is the same throughout time. People are prick and mean. Find a group that you like and fit into focus your energy on your academics take lots of college and advance placement classes and I stress calculus get that out of the way and your hard science. Get involved with the math clubs and the debate team. Don't be a dumb cheer leader. If you want to go to a good college they want to see the nerdy activity not the stereotypical social cliques.

Reply:High school was a blast for me. I would go back and do it all again if I could. Envolve yourself as much as possible. You only get out of things what you put in!
Reply:I was in high school long ago.. NO it does determine you future though. All your grades and tests you take do really really good on them or you'll be stuck with idiots in college. High school determines a lot of things. Through mylife experinces I realized that i hung out with the wrong people good thing I got a away I ended up with a gothic person whom I married. High school will have "heartache" but it's petty things. You'llhave drama because everyone's a teenageand they don't think like older people uh.. some college people still think like high school kids. Well have fun 4years are going t be long hard and make sure you hang out with the right people. Be with the smart kids because you might end up smart and succeed in life.
Reply:It depends. Some say that its the best years of their life- I thought this until I went to college. Some people had it bad during school, its different for all people. Just know that no matter what, bad or good, it gets much better in college
