High school?

i'm going into high school this august and i'm totally psyched. but, a little nervous. could someone give me some tips and help me out a little so i'll be cool with it?

High school?
Here are a couple of pointers...

-Be yourself. Don't try to be someone you are not.

-Treat everyone with respect. Who cares if they are part of the Rockers, the Preps, the Athletes, the Goth, The Rich kids, the Populars, the Cheerleaders, the Brains....it doesn't matter..be respectful to everyone and treat them as you would be like to be treated...

-Be active. Join some sports teams and clubs. These are what makes high school enjoyable and helps foster that school spirit in you. If there isn't something you like, start a club yourself and find a teacher you hike to head it.

-Concentrate on your grades. They are very important in a few years and they can save your parents and yorself alot of money in the long run.

-Have fun. Meet new friends and find new interests. Don't worry about trying to fit in. Its a time of growth and new found interests. Besides, none of us ever feel like we fit it because its such a mixed group of people.

-Wear your Charger clothes with pride.

Hope this helps......
Reply:awww another cute lil girl in big highschool all by herself well heres my advice get one group of friends that you think you can stick with the whole 4 years its not good to keep switching friend theres my tip bye bye
Reply:go with the flow, don't take your social life too seriously (not saying to not have one... it's just high school is kinda a practice round), don't get caught in a rut you won't be able to pull urself out of (drugs come to mind)... join groups... learn about yourself... broaden your horizons... experience life... have a few failed relationships (so you'll be able to appreciate the real thing later)... find your niche, and give your all to it... mainly just have fun : )

oh, and make good grades... that part's important too...
Reply:1) Just be yourself. There's nothing more unappealing than a Freshman trying to be something he or she is not.

2) Keep up with your studies. Get a tutor if you need one - but don't fall behind. Once you do, it's very hard to get back on track. The better you do in high school, the more doors will be open for you after high school.

3) Have fun. Join lots of clubs. Play sports. Go to your dances. Make friends. Four years seems like a long time now, but it will be over before you know it.
Reply:hey welcome!!!! being a 10th grader iknow some stuff.lol look have fun BUT don't forget to do well in school. don't hang out with the mad crowds. pass your classes this will help you out i lot!!! get to know everyone around your school like other teachers, staff, etc. meet older students that can help you out in anything. and the most important thing is to have fun and study hard!!!! good luck!!! :P
Reply:Just relax. Be friendly and nice.Focus on your studies.
Reply:Just be yourself, and don't regret it. Make every effort count because before you know it, the grades that didn't seem to matter, do. Be involved in as many activities as you can. Meet new people. And have fun with it. Because right now, I'm a junior... more than halfway done. And it seems like I just started my first day as a freshman yesterday...
