High school?

uhm i'm currently in 8th grade and i'm gonna be in 9th grade very very soon. i just have a question bout it...how different is it ? i know theres gonna be way more people than the school i'm currently in. but like....going class to class meeting a whole lotta people. its gonna be soo new to me lol. cause i go to a small co-ed private school [pre-k thru 8th] and its a one hallway school...our school is soo bootlegged ...in a sense. but in other words..its not like any other.

but back to the topic. are the boys more mature ? and i'm sure theres gonna be more peer pressure.

so any advice for my first day ?

please and thank youh :)

High school?
There will be some mature guys but in 9th Grade not many. 10 and up will have more mature guys. On your first day, don't look like the scared little freshmen. Be confident and walk around like you own the place.
Reply:well im a fresh going to soph next year and it is not all that different other than a lot harder to make friends and there well be peer presher a **** load more or just don't go to party's

Reply:I'm sure it will be really different. Are any of your friends from your current school going to the same high school as you? If so, maybe you'll have a class together or be able to eat lunch at the same time.

My best advice is to just hang back and kind of check things out for a while first. Then you can see what kind of people each person is (nice, fake, etc.) and you can choose your friends wisely.

I do think there's a lot more peer pressure in high school so you have to be strong and be true to yourself. As far as the boys, sorry, but I don't think they mature until they're about 30! lol I know - ancient! rofl. They do get bolder and more aggressive, so be careful to stay out of potentially dangerous situations. You sound like a sweet young lady. Try to stay that way as long as you can.

Good Luck, hon.
