High school?

me and my family just migrated from the philippines..i dont really know what to expect when i go to school..am kinda nervous and at the same time excited..i need advices on what to wear..cuz back in manila we use uniforms :)


and how do u use the locker..cuz my mom didnt let me use a locker back in the phil..

High school?
1. High school is similar around the world. Wear what seems natural to wear for you (be yourself!). I would suggest nothing showing your stomach, no spaghetti straps, nothing too sexual.





2. locks are pretty easy once you get used to them. If this is your combination: 12-23-4





First you turn the lock around several times to the right to "clear" it. Then, going in the right/clockwise direction, turn it to the notch "12." After that, turn in left/counterclockwise direction to "23," but keep going one extra turn until you come to "23" again (you go over the second number twice). Then turn right/clockwise until you come to "4" (don't go over it twice, just hit it once). Pull the lever or pull on the lock and it should open.





So again, simply: clear, go right to 1st number, go left to 2nd number twice over, go to right to 3rd number (once), open





A great way to make friends is to join clubs or sport teams. They probably have something you are interested--maybe art, music, sports, literature, cheerleading, whatever. That's the best way to make friends in high school.

Reply:Well what you wear all really depends on what your personality is. My favorite store is American Eagle (they are at most malls in the U.S.) If you aren't really sure what to wear, go to the store and pick up a Seventeen magazine, and a Cosmo Girl. They generally have printed what styles are popular right now.





How do you use the locker? You put your books and your back pack in it. I don't know if the lockers at the school you're going to has locks or not, but either way I would keep your valuables (cell phone, iPod, money) with you.

Im into kinda skater surfer ware... so i dress with accordance to that... i wear quiksilver (my fav brand) and some vans, etnies, volcom, circa ect.





I suggest wearing clothes with just a logo or words on it... NO PICTURES... pictures are too kiddish... just get some like shorts, boardshorts (bathingsuit shorts without lining), jeans, or shirts...





Lockers are easy.. the first # (number) you twist twice clockwise and find the #





The second # you go backwards (counter clockwise) past the first number and then find your second number





The third # you go clockwise again and just find the number





You will be the youngest in your class/ grade but it shouldnt matter if your smart... just be yourself, put a a smile on your face and be nice... try to make some opposite sex friends (sry i dont know your gender)... they usually get the POP in popularity going
