High school?

I'm from Aus so fill me in, in american high schools, do they do a roll call at the beginning of each period? if they do, how do you get away with waging a subject

At "American schools", they take attendence for each class. And by waging do you mean skipping a subject? Well, you can't unless you get your friends to call out "here" for you or something. =)
Reply:Some teachers do roll call and some do seating charts.
Reply:yes they take the roll(well some teachers do..others are to lazy to do it) but it is easy to skip if you don't let that teacher see you in the hallway before you go to there class

uhh u don't really get away with skipping class i guess, u just skip and hope the school doesn't call ur parents lol hahaha i've skipped a few times before,and nothing happened thankfully
Reply:It depends on where you go because all schools are different.My school it's really easy to cut.All schools aren't a like.Most schools do take attendance in every class

And if by wagging, you mean skipping a class, what kids at my school usually do is just go to the library, jump the fence or ask another teacher to stay in their classroom.

When kids skip they just get counted as absent. Usually they'll just walk away from school...there is never anyone watching to make sure no one skips but sometimes they do get caught.
Reply:It really depends on the class or teacher. I know when I was there a lot of professors didn't really bother calling attendance.

Reply:ya we do the roll thing and if u mean skip classes kids usually hide in bathroms but get caught or or ditch school in the morning alot of kids in my school take the bus so in the morning they just go somewhere else!

im guessing waging means ditching... they usually ditch wen thiers a substitute and hang out in the campus
