High school?

If i move to a new high school for grade ten....how odd will it be to make new friends?





Do people usually make friends on the first day of school?


Will the teacher tell someone to show me arround or will i have to go upto people and start?

High school?
i think its the hardest time to make new friends because people have their friends from freshman year and cliques by then and they are judgemental at that age.





yeah i think sometimes they have student office assistants shows students around. you can try to make a new friend right there.
Reply:well, i had no problems making friends with my classmates when i moved to s cience high school, here in the Philippines. haha. i made friends with my seatmates, then, its like after class election, i had already made friends with almost half the class, :p





its already easy for me, becasue i transferred schools for three times, just becasue we dont have a permanent place to live in. haha

Reply:It wont be odd. If you are new, everyone would just love you (unless you are really mean to them). Be really nice. Tell them about your old high school. Ask them questions of the high school. I moved high schools and I made heaps of friends on the first day. Everyone looked the same back then. They waved at me and I just wavved back (unaware at who was waving. LOL) anyways, it depends what school you go to and who the teacher is. When I moved schools, the teacher didn't get somebody show me around. She was just like: 'This school is strict. It's not big. There is a map of it in your school diary. Look at it and find your way around buildings.'

Reply:I don't know exactly how it will be in the school you're going to, and as far as someone showing you around, I'm assuming that will vary a lot.





As far as you making new friends, all I can say is that I'm in grade ten now, and all of the few students who came into the school starting at grade ten at the beginning of the year assimilated pretty quickly.





Then again, I don't know what your school will be like, so I can't tell you for certain how it will be for you. I also don't know what you're like as a person. Still, if you're the sortof person who makes friends quickly/easily you probably shouldn't have a problem. If not, I don't know what to say, because as I said, it'll vary.

Reply:well i've finished my exams of grade 10 this year n i think u'll not b comfortable with a new school n,which can affect your studies
