High school!!?

I was wondering about anything someone wished they did differently in high school. And What tips would you give someone entering it?

High school!!?
I am a freshmen about to be a sophmore. All i can say is make sure that you get INVOLVED. One it looks good on your college entrance papers and you make tons of new friends. I am on drill team and i have met so many people and love all of them. It also, is tons of fun. Oh and one more thing take as many ap classes as you can they may seem hard. But i am in all ap classes and they get easier plus it all pays off.
Reply:I wish someone told me that high school would be easy, and that teachers don't know everything, and when they say "grade X is super hard, so buckle up now" it's complete bs, every grade is easy.





Also, sit in the front, and respect your teachers, they'll grade you a lot easier, and cut you a lot of slack.





Take all the sciences, and maths.





Be nice to people, try not to gossip, take homework seriously, stay away from drugs, and get accepted into a good program at a good university.
Reply:I definitely agree with Hailey. Getting involved in school activities lets you meet a lot of new people and colleges will really be looking at that. Don't put it off. Some of my friends did that this year and last year. Now our school is cutting a lot of clubs and they will have a smaller variety of activities to choose from. School activities that you like will let you have something fun to concentrate on.
Reply:I'm a junior this year and I am honestly glad I became involved in sports and became a football watergirl. You get to make friends with all the varsity players starting out AND its like you have 40 big brothers trying to protect you. its an awesome deal..
Reply:I wish I'd started my community service hours freshman year. Colleges really look at that you know.
