High School?

I'm a freshman in high school. First I am not trying to be full of myself or anything. Just going tell you about myself. I am a wealthy white suburban boy. With no problems. Some times I wish life was harder just to have some real life struggles. I am in all honors classes, straight A's, and three sport athlete, play freshman, jv, and varsity. I am pretty good looking. I am friends with everyone from the most popular kid to the losers. I dont really hangout that much though even though I could. I have some sort of practice or game everday so it is not like I am an hermit. So you might be wondering my question. Why do I feel like I want to be poor or dumb. Or just that average kid. My athletic friends joke around that I am to smart, smart kids joke I am too athletic. Everything seems perfect except somethings missing. Life isnt suppose to be this bubbled world were everything is perfect. I need challenge I need trouble I need to experience something to work for. Please Comment.

High School?
you should enjoy it while it lasts

p.s. i love how you say from the popular kids to the "losers", that show how shallow you really are (no offense.)

Reply:i know exactly how you feel....all my life opportunities have just fell in my lap....ive never really had to work for anything.... you feel like you need to be poor or dumb or do something crazy really just to fit in...thats the whole reasoning behind it...we feel like we dont fit in..were underappreciated...thats all..you dont need trouble you...and i can understand the whole need for challenge...but you just need to continue being you...if youre not yourself then who are....youll be just like everyone else....we cant help who our parents are and what kind of living situation we are born into it just happens...its life.....everyday of my life is spent in some sort of dance, orchestral or piano practice....but yet and still i have time for my friends...maybe you should try getting a job so that you can see how challenging it is to work in the real world...and if you do get one dont have an attitude of "i dont need this or i dont have to work i can ask my parents...give the job your all...so everything may seem perfect but it may not be...your parents may portray this lifestyle of nothing being wrong...and may only be doing it to protect you...so be grateful for everything it is that you have....~*God Bless*~
Reply:Being great in school will benefit you in the future...believe me. You don't want to be dumb. That shouldn't be an option to you. Kids in highschool are always going to want you to pick a side or a click. You DON'T have to. That's why they say things like you are too smart or too athletic. You shouldn't worry about this because the same kids you see now in school will be working a part time job in the mall after highschool with you. Wanting to be something your not at a young age is typical. It's because you want to fit in in some level. Don't let what kids tell you bother you. You shouldn't be anything that your not. You should just be you and why would you want to be something else than a straight A student who's smart and atheletic. You know that you can be both. There is no such thing as too smart or too good in sports. When they tell you these thing just simply reply back with a "So....?". They won't be able to answer back or they will answer back with something stupid. Keep up with the straight A's and the sports. You'll be great one day.
Reply:I am like you in alot of ways wealthy family no struggles etc and i have been thinking the same thing so.. i got a job it provides challenges etc and its pretty good at weekends. Although if that doesn't work why don't you try new hobbys i am starting archery.
Reply:i'm not the only one??? i like being alone it gives me time 2 think. u could try not being involved in so many sports so u can go different places and meet new people
