High school...?
Ok so i am a senior this year.. woohoo!


but i would have to say that freshman year was by far the best. You will meet so many new people and make tons of awesome friends and, despite the occasional "freshmeat" pun, will have a blast. I even met my first boyfriend my freshman year =).





About making friends, everyone else is so obsessed with being accepted... just be yourself and they will be impressed with how chill you are. You don't have to do much to make friends... just make it a point to talk to 2 people in every class and youll have at leat 12 new friends by the end of the day!





About clothes, it really is your own preference. I go for the preppier side i guess. I have a few pairs or jeans that i love you wear regularly [hollister, tru religion, j crew] and i wear mostly plain cutsy tops (nothing with big words on them please! i can't stand shirts you have to read everytime you see them)


Hair. So i might be a little obsessed with my hair, but i blowdry and straghten it every morning (even tho it is naturally straight). Taking time to do your hair gives you a natural high or confidence boost for things like the first day of school. And lightly straightening it gives it a nice shine and lays down any flyaways. Just try and get your hair looking as natural and effortless as possible ;).


Make-up. Natural looking is the way to go. I wear foundation with spf and mascara every day... anything beyond that is just flare lol. Don't wear any crazy colors unless you are just dying to... stick with browns or light pink eye shadows for daily make-up. Just dont cake anything on... and you should be set!

Reply:Im going to HS too. I think the best advice is to be yourself. Dont be phony just to try to fit into some click. Dont overdo your hair and makeup. Its not that much different than MS..just be yourself and dont stress over it so much. Im sure you are a great person and will make friends easily. Join some clubs or organizations that interest you. Play sports if you are into that...great way to make friends! Good luck!!
Reply:Well I am going to be a senior in high school this year. My freshman wasnt what I expected. Its actually a lot easier than you think! High school goes by soooo fast, I graduate this year but I feel like I am just moving up to high school still. Just have fun, these are the best years of your life. Making friends isnt that hard, just be open and try to meet as many friends as you can. Well clothes I dunno... we sadly have uniforms... but before we had uniforms I just wore depending on how I felt. Oh and get involed in everything you can its more fun that way, I am in a lot of sports and clubs. Well good luck! Have fun!
Reply:this is going to be my sophmore year so i was a freshmen last year. the thing is, its not as hard as everyone makes it seem becaue thatis what i thought. people in high school are much more mature and less judgemental. your hair should always at least look nice because you WILL get talked about if it doesn't . and clothes just make sure they are nice and CLEAN too because you'll get talked about for that also. most of the high school kids have to buy their own clothes so its never really anything really exspensive. most of them shop at stores like aeropostal. thats the main store. they like alot of baby doll shirts and ballet shoes.
