High School...?

I'm going to go to high school and I was homeschooled previously. I should be a sophomore unless they decide otherwise.





Is it normal to be really stressed and was it easy to make friends?

Reply:Going from homeschooling to high school is a big change but you'll handle it well. Stressing over it is normal but try not to let it consume you. Most people are the new kid at sometime in their life. Making friends is easy if you're a friendly and outgoing person. Being shy isn't going to help you any.
Reply:Making friends isn't really easy or hard. I guess it depends on how social you are, and how social the people around you are. That being said, I went from private school my whole life to public school for high school. I didn't know anyone in my new school beforehand. I still managed to find friends, and at the end of my HS career, I was well known and knew nearly everyone in my grade. If you have a hard time making friends, one of the easiest ways to get someone's attention to to genuinely compliment them about something (such as "Wow. I love your shirt" etc).





Just stay relaxed and calm about it! There's no reason to stress over high school.

Reply:yeah the first day of high school is usually pretty tense.
Reply:So i have changed schools alot, it is normal to be really stressed, i always was, to make friends you just have to put yourself out there and dont be shy, always be yourself so people like you for who you are.
Reply:Yes and it is easy. There are soooooo many kids in high school, they don't know half the people in their new class even in sophomore year. So just be yourself and stay up with the latest trend. How about wearing Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister or American Eagle. Kids like people who wear those for some reason.


But most importantly have fun and be yourself!!!
