High School?

Um.........ok i'm going onto high school and non of my friends are going to the same high school as me and i'm freaking out. Is that normal or am i just wierd?

High School?
it's normal to freak out but you will not be the only one in that situation. You will make new friends easily.
Reply:your not weird.....I ahd to go to a new state,new high school,...new everything without my friends ...i freaked out....but the best thing to do is be open to making new friends...that is the best advice I can give!:)

freshmen year you will realize, hey its just school!

listen, i went to a different school for freshmen year


than i did this year for sophomre year and im terribly terribly


shy. i had to restart at a new school twice in two school years


and heyy im alive, happy, and have amazing friends.


if I can do it you certinaly can. make the most out of your


high school career. join some clubs or sports. they help


to make friends. be outgoing and above all BE YOURSELF!


upperclass men HATE freshmen that are immature fake wannabes. so relax and have fun.
Reply:This is the part where you grow up. Become independent in all areas especially thinking. High school is where you set yourself apart from the followers and become a leader. Your social skills and problem solving skills will be tested here also, so you should prepare yourself by just being...yourself. Remember your friends are just a cell phone away and you'll still see them after school. Relax!
Reply:it's normal and trust me it's okay. i went through the same thing and it really isn't that hard to make new friends. no need to fret. i freaked out because i was afraid no one would care to meet me but now i have a best friend and she's awesome. it's all good! =]
Reply:Of course it's normal! It's only natural to feel scared or a bit lonely when you don't know anyone. I'm sure you'll make friends, because most likely there will be people there that don't have any of their friends too.

high school is sooo much fun and its even better becasue you are going alone so you can meet new people and still have your old friends.

Reply:It is totally normal! I'm going into my sophmore year. When i went to highschool "alone" i knew absolutly no one! I was worried like you! Don't be though its not a big deal as you might think! You will make friends in no time! When i was in the same position as you by the end of the first week i had 30 new friends! Thats a lot considering my class is only of 250 instead of the normal 500! If you go to a bigger school you'll make twice as many new friends! Highschool is SOOOOO fun! My freshman year went by so fast! Don't worry at all! Just be prepared for the time of your LIFE!!!!

Within 2 days I found completely new friends





I still see my old friends but my new friends and AMAZING!





You can be friends with everyone, old and new





Remember, everyone will be eager to meet new people and form new friendships





And I'm sure there will be plenty of other people in your situation





Think of it as a new start





Smile, be friendly and approachable but stand your ground and you should find new friends in no time





Don't forget your old friends though


You can still have loads of fun together and think about it, late on you will be invited twice the parties





There, you can meet new people and pretty soom you'll have loads of friends and be miss popularity!!!

Reply:it's normal...when i started high school i only knew one person and we only saw each other before and after school...i was nervous and freaked out and everything...turns out high school's not as bad as people make it to be

Reply:Its normal... iwas always like freakin out even when i new like 10 people who were going to my school... it'll be fine ... you'll make new friends trust me ...i am almost finished my 1 year of h.s. now.
