High school?

my sister is attending the 8th grade this year she 'll go to high school. I've studied in England . I want to know. how many subjects you must study in high school?

High school?
Well, In my high school, we have four core classes, and two electives. My four cores are, of course, Math, science, history, and English. My two electives are Business Tech and Band. I am a Freshman, and I have Alegebra I. It's not so hard when you really listen and focus. You also HAVE to do your homework, or you will surely fail, as it contributes so well to your grade. Science, I have Biology. The first semester was mostly on Botany (plants), cells, and reproduction. Not so hard. Just take notes and study your vocabulary. History is really the same as ever, if not just a bit more specific. English is a lot harder for me, though, because you stop focusing so much on classifying sentences, and nouns and verbs and the like. It's mostly literature. Of course, that's all the core classes. Band and Business Tech really depend on the teacher, because they don't have a set standard that they have to respond to, they just teach whatever they feel like.
