High school?

i'm going into high school this fall, and i am nervous.


i'm a shy person but once you get to know me i am alot of fun.


i want to break out of my shell. how can i do that?


also if i dress in nice clothes will i be not a loser?


please help me and tell me more about high school.

High school?
well, try to chill and not care what people think. don't dress to be cool, dress to look nice and feel nice. don't be mean to people, and make jokes with people. you know you are lots of fun, so don't let your shyness get in the way. try to make sure you don't become too much of the class clown, but just the nice person who has wicked awesome fashion sense and is a lot of fun.


Go to forever 21 and get some trendy jewelry. If you have some plain tee shirts, in nice colors, wear them with jewelry. If you have a nice blazer for fall (leather/cashmere/wool)and a nice wool coat for winter and proper footwear (black leather knee high boots, with a thin 1-2 inch heel for winter and fall, and nice basic pair of black leather shoes with a 1 inch heel for summer) Go to tj maxx/ winners/ marshalls for all these basics. Also, check out old navy for tanks and t-shirts in fun colors, there perfect fit tees and tanks have awesome color selection and great prices. Get three plain solid color (not black/white), and three color plain tees. no emblems and no stripes


When fall comes, look for some merino wool or cashmere sweaters in fun colors. Feel the wool first, if its itchy... Ditch it. V necks and scoop necks are really flattering, so look for these. A nice pair of Jackie. O. sunglassics, and nice bag to carry your books in, and fashion wise your set;. Don't forget a nice tiny leather purse to take from class to class in a color you like, that you think goes with your outfit ... it should fit some lipbalm and/or gloss and if you have one a celly and/or wallet.


Look for off fifth saks fifth avenue or last call neiman marcus for really great basics, like the ones I listed above... they have coupons all over the web. try to look for coach/ dooney outlets close to your house. check out the webbies to get a gist of price points for all these purses and clothes, so you'll know how much your saving. also, look for coupons on the outlet malls site.
Reply:Always voice your opinion even if its contrary to what others think. (especially if its contrary) Being different and having a different way of thinking makes you stand out. Standing out is a good thing. Just be yourself this summer. Go to the beach with friends. Say HI to everyone you see from school and let them know your still alive. Reply:high school will ethier love you or hate you. it depends of what you make of it. just find a good group of friends...and dont change your self. concentrate on school, grades, and geting into a good college. trust me, it all starts freshman year. dont worry about being "cool". highschools are so big conpared to middle school, its jsut totally different, you notice that what you wear the first couple months doesnt matter. its just so different that jr. high. just go into it with an open mind.
Reply:Right now layers are in. so are flats all year but wedges mostly in the spring. try some silver hoop earings, they never fail. You can wear headband too but make sure they coordinate with your out fit.

Reply:high school is nothing to be worried about . I was a little shy myself when i was a freshman but now its a breeze and im finally a senior. But the first thing that you should do is wear clothes that you like and are comfortable in, don't were anything just because someone else is or just because you think that it will make you cool. Finding your own individuality is what high school is about. Once you do that you will meet more friends like youself and that will help you break out your shell.

Reply:I just graduated a year ago, pick your friends wisely there's no point in being a real popular person when they start talking about you behind your back and start a lot of drama. Do you homework, you'll thank yourself when you become a senior (trust me I should know, me not doing my homework..ugh I regret it lol). If you wanna break out of your shell um join clubs talk a lot even if your shy I know it's hard I was shy too when I was in High school I didn't break out of my shell til about my senior year. As for dressing, wear what you want, you don't have to copy from other peoples clothing, wear what you feel is what you want to wear. If you need clothing ideas check out some magazines but that doesn't mean you have to spend loads of money to look nice. Dressing in nice clothes doesn't guarantee that you not going to become a loser it's more about personality, but that doesn't mean you have to become promiscuous either. High school can be cruel but just remember your in it for the education not a popularity contest
