High School?

I'm currently in Middle School (7th Grade) and was wondering, what is High School like? Is it hell, is it decent or fun?

High School?
I am a senior in high school right now, and it is only fun if you make it fun. I started high school knowing nobody because I came from a different elemantary school that wasn't around my high school. I honestly had no fun freshmen year because I was shy and afraid to get involved with anything. Then, the more people I met, the more fun it became. I have a million friends and I am involved with like everyhting including my favorite extracurricular activity; dance. I never danced before high school and now it is a big part of my life. I would never had the chance to try it out if I didn't get over my fears and just tried new things. I mean, I am not saying you won't have fun if you don't try new things, just find something you'll love to do in the next four years and get involved with it as well as a lot of other things. Get the guts to run for student office or to try out for the football team even if you don't think you'll make it. My favorite saying is live life like there is no tomorrow because you don't know when you'll die and high school may be four years, but it goes by a lot faster than you think. People told me that when I started and I didn't believe them, but now I do cuz I'm starting college in four months!!! : ] So, yeah basically to sum it up, high school is what you make it. And don't worry, high school portrayed on T.V. is there just to scare you, its not as bad as that at all!!! Oh, and whatever you do, don't get caught up in the wrong crowd or fall under peer pressure, it could ruin your life! Sometimes having no friends is better than ruining your future. Just be yourself and people will be attracted to the positive and fun energy you give off!!! Good luck : )
Reply:I loved my high school years. It is honestly not as bad as they make it to be in movies and on shows. There weren't any cliques in my school..and even if there were a few, they left everyone else alone. I was in the IB program and so I was mostly friends with the other IB students and we had our own crew type of thing. I really enjoyed my high school years and now I miss them. I'm in first year Univ and I hate it lol i wanna go back so badly..but yeah don't worry you'll be fine in hs..don't stress about being cool and fitting in..you eventually fall into your place..just make sure you don't slack off from ur first yr or else you'll find it way too hard to pull urself up
