High School um what is the hardest part? I don't understand the classes and credits part? I know all hight school are different but can you explain!!!??By the for freshmen!! Thank you.
High school?
Well let me answer the question I can. Each class that you take is worth 1 part (1 credit). This 1 class is divided into 2 halves (semesters). For each half (semester), you earn one grade. This grade is assigned a number which is applied to your grade point average (GPA). A is worth 4 points, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0. If you take Honors, it's more. A is 5, B=4, C=3, D is usually still 1 and F is usually zero. At the end of a semester, the numbers are averaged to give you a grade point average. At the end of 4 years of high school, the higher GPA you have, then the better your chances of getting into a good college.
I suggest you talk to a guidance counselor and ask all the questions you can. That's what they are there for!
Reply:I am not sure if there is even a "hardest part" of high school because it is different for everyone. I would have to say that some of the classes can be tough. Again, it varies from person to person.
All high schools have a wide range of classes/electives that you can choose from. However, all high schools also have requirements of certain classes you must take in order to graduate and/or go to a college/university. As for credit, it depends on where you live. You need a certain amount of credits to graduate H.S. and for a lot of places, that number varies.
Reply:The hardest part in highschool? Multitasking. It's about time-organization I suppose, giving up going to the mall so you can prep for a test the next day, or dividing your hours afterschool to finish a project and prepare a presentation...things like that. Of course the other hard part of highschool is exams---but those just require good studying habits, like making study notes. For credits, all basic courses are worth one credit. Take english for example, that is one credit, math is one credit...etc. There are other courses that are worth half a credit, and sometimes 2 credits...only because they either take up 2 periods, or they last for half a semester.
Basically the point of these credits is to count what you've done in highschool. In Canada, you need 40 credits to finish highschool, with 4 credits in english (you need to take all years of english), 3 credits in science...etc.
Reply:The hardest part is getting to school on time.
Reply:ok look...you need at least 1 credit in each class...( you get a credit by passing the class 50% or more) and you have to do 40 hours of community service without pay to pass high school as well. you can work with your parents they just need to sign a paper that says you worked...and the grade 10 literacy test..you MUST need to pass this test to finish high school, if not, you keep doing it until you pass
but the hardest part is definetly getting to school on time and dont worry about work or exams...its not as hard as you think just study everyday little by little and youl do fine
