Ok, today, I was betryaed by one of my best friends since 6th grade (im in 10th now) because basicaly they got pissed that I didnt come to school because there was a shooting threat, so they text messaged me a message basicaly calling me a coward, so I got upset and text messaged them back, then they text messaged back, then I texted my friend saying "dont even think about talking to me tommorow, asshole". How do I get over this and make new friends ?

If this is really something that is worth ruining a long friendship over than stand your ground, but make sure that it is worth it. I am currently in college and I don't talk to any of my high school friends because of something I thought was really important, but when I look back at it, it wasn't important enough to ruin a 4 year friendship with my 6 best friends. If it is worth it, get involved in different activities that interest you and you will meet people there.

ok so heres my story....i go to Memorial but i belong to another school(PSJA North)....me and my mom made a deal that if i passed the semester i would have the option of going to raiders...well i passed....and i wanna go back...but....i heard that theres alot of drama...and i dont need that. And also all the girls over there seem to be getting pregnant...and i dont want to be a teenage mother. What should i do?? i miss all my old friends...and i had to break up with my boyfriend because we were never going to be together....please help me out!!

didnt make the team at fall tryouts. i gave all my heart out. gave a great esay, stayed up late for tryouts. my "friend" made the team great for her. but now she acts like she doesent know me and treats me so badly. like only calls me when she needs help. what ev. if i decide to try out again. what can i do in order to make the team. please, there are no other sports in the winter that are interesting. plus the girls on the team we never seemed to talk to me. their not the type of people that i associate with. not the same interests, at least theones from middle school

there was drama over the summer and now me and my two best friends are left without a group. We have friends but its gonna be hard. What do we do, we dont even no where to sit on the first day of school. We plan to be social and all that good stuff but i want advice from the public. so speak up.

Keep the real friends by your side, within these couple of years .. you will realize that someone is gonna backstab you, and you will go through drama about friendships .. Dont worry so much about it.

Picture day is on the first day of school, and I need some suggestions on what I should wear and what I shouldn't.
Any make-up dos, and don't, will highly be appericated and automatically be given the 10 points.
Ex,
Never wear white or black clothes... etc.

I would suggest wearing something bright and kinda fancy not too fancy just has sum detail to it not plain or boring..and ur right don't wear black and white.. when it comes to makeup (DONT OVER USE THE MAKEUP) its nice to have a more natural look then a clutter of makeup on ur face...maybe a little coverup some eyeliner and cute lip gloss...and hair if u straighten ur hair then straighten it or u can curl it or moose it but don't put it up in a ponytail or bun..

since you have tan skin and what not.. colors that probably look good on you would be a melon color, a beige color, yellow, or a bright sky blue.. the top should be cute or whatever your comfortable in.
as for make up and hair, just be yourself. you dont want to look back on your school picture and think to yourself "what was i thinking, this doesnt even look like me" thats what you should always keep in mind.. because usually when you try to hard for school pics, you end up hating it.. at least thats what ive found. good luck

You'll do great. I remember the horrible feeling of 9th grade starting, but you'll be suprised. It's not as scary as you think, and if you don't get into the bad crowd, etc, you'll be fine. Just hurry and get your stuff, get to class atleast one to one %26amp; 1/2 minutes early because 1. teachers like that. 2. as soon as people realize theres only a minute left, they run, and its hard to not get run over/make it to class yourself.

It's NOT much different, except 16 year olds drive cars and park in the lot and there is a line of cars waiting to turn into the lot.
And Senior Girls are Foxes and know it and are snobs (how did you deal with them in your first year of Middle School).
Oh, yeah, you will see a few people in doorways at lunch kissing.
Oh, yeah, you will see a lot of kids taking a smoke break.
Other than that nothing you haven't seen before.

i am 19 and wen i was in high skool u had to pass these test to go off to college there call the graduation test i have one i still need to pass to go off to college i want to go really bad and goin in to a field workin with computers ..... my question is there are is way to get some one to waved my test that i havent passed yet i know u have to be with in 5 points of passin the test to get it waved im with in 4 points adn i wanted to know if any one knows more abt this such as do alot of kids get it pasted or how long does it take .....i am goin to my skool tomorrow to talk to a teacher i guess im just nerves....

I am going into highschool in a couple of years, like 1 1/2 years. I have my profession set up, for college and everything. I want to become a Veternarian. What electives should I take in highschool to help prepare my for vet school, in college.

You should focus on the sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Physics.
You should also take Calculus and Statistics, a co-op placement with a local vet may well be helpful. Since it's possible that some of your future "human" clients may have difficulty in communicating in English, taking one or more foreign language courses could be a good idea. I would also suggest taking Philosophy if it's available, since there are ethical issues in the medical treatment of animals, just as there are in the medical treatment of humans.

English has always been my best subject and I really want to take AP. Should I take the english AP exam and if I pass do the class anyways ?

The more AP that you take the better when you get to college. The top schools like Harvard, Yale, NYU, Cornell Columbia, UChicago, UPenn. and so on like this and this is how the applicant pool is.
