Will I get made fun of next year in high school for being short?

it depends on your personality. Don't let people know that your height bothers you and no one will care how hall you are.
Reply:it depends...If you are going to high school with a bunch of scumbags then that's a possibility.But on the other hand if you have a good group of friends you probably wont have to worry to much.
Reply:I don't think so. Do you have any friends? Stick with them and make some new. It's alright...there's a girl at my school, she's so short.., but she is happy. It's okay, but stand up for yourself.
Reply:you might a little, but not cruelly, if you laugh along, no one will care if you are short. I know a few guys that are really really short and look like they should still be in middle school but they laugh about it and are fine with it. Learn to be happy with your height and you will be fine, no one will care.
Reply:Probably not. As long as you're a nice person who can interact and socialize with others, you should have no problem. People don't usually tend to make fun of others in a mocking way JUST because they're short. High school can be alot of fun. It only depends on what YOU make it.

Reply:It depends how short you are. And if your really short, some older guys might give you a hard time about it the first couple of days, but after that they'll be cool about it. Just don't react to them. Their are like 7 really short guys in my grade, and their all cool, but some seniors teased them the 1st day. SO, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!

Reply:maybe, it's not for sure, but believe me, there are going to be plenty of shorter people than you in high school, especially if your high school is big, like mine was

Go with the flow, think of some short jokes to add to the fun. laugh with people and dont take offence. Will hurt less. If you show hurt, people will know how to hurt you and do it more.
Reply:my mom always say that short people end up having a growth spurt and eventually, they'll be the tallest kids by junior year. it's true too. and no, you will not be made fun of. plenty of kids r short.
Reply:I know tons of HS students shorter than me and I'm 5"3" and I'm also a Freshman. Don't worry about it.
