Reply:I think that high school is way better than middle school. It will give a new opportunity to meet new people and join new clubs, etc. People are a lot more mature by the time they reach high school, so they are more open to accepting you for YOU...what a novel idea that doesn't seem to exist in most middle schools.


Have fun! Starting at a high school away from my hometown was the best decision I ever made!

Reply:well i guess it's a new step in life ur no longer a child u have to be grown up and serious some are afraid of that, some are afraid they cant fit in.. u know, issues like this just makes ppl nervous.. i remember i was nervous when i got in grade 9 but i slowly got over it not saying that im so totally comfortable to this day but i still get nervous too....

Reply:Well some people, who do not have loads of confidence will fear high school. Then you have people who fear doing poorly in there career in high school. What classes to take,what college they will get into etc. well gl.
Reply:It's a change. Many pple say its a critical point in your life. I don't think that's always the case. But to many people the thought that they won't succeed in life if they don't succeed in High School is scary. Plus there are much older people, and people that they haven't seen before. Its uncomfortable to some people.That's good that you aren't scared. Don't slack off though.

Reply:Well, i dont know which school your going to or what classes your taking, but for me, im taking all the hard classes. My biggest fear is honors english. That's my opinion. I guess i feel this way because of my desire to be the best in academics, i dont know what your goals are. gl!
Reply:Cause, I'm excited but also scared... many people don't have much of a reason to be its going to be great when you think about it but it's also genna change everything in your life. The rumors, the drama, the homework, the Bit.chy people and where to sit in the cafeteria?, Are my friends going to be in the same class as me? . all that kind of stuff is why someone would be scared about it. But, the reasons to be excited is probably all the new people, more friends, a boy friend, bigger school...ext.
Reply:all the drama that goes on and all the upper classmen hate lower classmen. this is going to be my 2nd year in high school, and last year wasent too bad but once u become an upper classmen, life will be better
Reply:i wasnt afraid to go to high school cause i thought that what everyone said about hs was a myth about it being scary and all but after my freshman year i realized that it is a totally different place then middle school, the drama is insane and the work load is really tuff, you'll lose your old friends and make new ones hopefully

Reply:I wasn't afraid of high school, but a lot will change once you are there. For me I went into a school that had three junior highs coming into it, so I was surrounded by a lot of new people. You might grow apart from old friends and make new ones and sometimes thats hard. And yes there is sooo much unnecessary drama. Its a fun time though and I'm sure you'll like it.
Reply:nothing at all...they are scared b/c its change. If u r the type of person to embraces and thrives off change you'll be a leader in the real the world...the ppl that cower in the face of change are followers. So be their leader.
